This blog is focused on the Freshman experience during their Foundation year at AIB, life in and outside of school. New content will be added daily. We encourage student participation, content submissions, and any other suggestions that you may have to help make the blog better.

We hope the blog becomes a place to build the AIB community and a source for all things creative during your AIB experience.

About the AIB
Foundation Program

During your "foundation year," you learn and become proficient in the basics—from a professional artist's perspective. That means, for example, you don't only practice (and practice) drawing the world around you, you learn how to think about what you experience and observe, about how artists' perceptions of the world have influenced your own perceptions. The Foundation Year gives you invaluable perspective on what it means to be an artist. You will explore and expand your ways of seeing, drawing, and designing.

FPAC and AIGA present:
POSTGIG
A Compilation of Music Posters
A one week exhibit including original posters by: Modern Dog, Aesthetic Apparatus, Patent Pending, The Small Stakes, Seripop, Hammerpress, The Decoder Ring and many more. Curated by Clifford Stoltze, the show complements the recent launch of his book 1000 Music Graphics.

Special opening evening hosted by FPAC:
Wednesday, September 17th, 6–8pm
The show runs September 15–20, 2008.
