We recently completed a validation case with one of the largest non-profit care provider in US, and are pursuing opportunity to help develop the state of PA's health info exchange.

We are looking for a graphic design intern who has had experience with photoshop, CSS, and web design. The intern will work with a group of software engineers to develop interfaces and enhance user experiences.The intern will also have the opportunity to participant in Boston start up community and health care start up events, as well as work with regarded technology entrepreneurs. This position is great for a self motivated student looking to gain a wide range of exposure to health care and technology industries. iQuartic also offers a flexible and fun work environment.

Graphic Design Intern for Pilot Studio

MTV Summer Fellowship Program

Introduction: 

The MTV Summer Fellowship Program is a newly created initiative that aims to provide recent college graduates (or soon to be college graduates) with opportunities throughout the MTV organization.  This 10-week program will attract the best and brightest talent with interest in multiple disciplines that encompass everything from business development and strategy to programming and creative development. Ideal candidates will have exceptional verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.  The Summer Fellowship Program will complement the existing internships currently available to college students, deepening MTV’s connection with its audience while helping to identify future network talent.

Program Basics/Requirements:

• 10 week program starting on/around Monday, June 4, 2012 and ending on/around Friday, August 10, 2012.
• Part-time position, 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday), typical business hours are 9:30AM to 5:30PM.
• Open to all students who will be May 2012 graduates.
• Competitive hourly wage.
• Bi-Weekly speaker sessions with MTV/Viacom business leaders.
• Professional mentorship and workshop opportunities.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, ideally through extracurricular or previous internship experience.

Nickelodeon Artist Program

Developed to broaden Nickelodeon's outreach efforts, the Nickelodeon Artist Program is designed to nurture the development of emerging and diverse artists for positions within the Nickelodeon Animation Studio, while supporting their growth as creative visionaries.

Operating in a three-phased structure, the Program provides a salaried position for six months and offers hands-on experience working with established storyboard artists, background designers, character designers and more.

As part of their development, each artist will be assigned to a production and mentored by Lead Artists who supervise in the storyboard, character and background design departments. Artists will also be guided in advancing their portfolio and becoming equipped with a professional skill set. The Artist Program also offers artists a chance to understand the depth of their new skills, refine and strengthen key areas, and apply them in our real world environment.

In addition, all artists are integrated into the activities of the productions to which they are assigned. This allows the artist an opportunity to complete production relevant assignments designated by their mentor, to attend storyboard pitches, take animation tests, develop their portfolio and pitching skills, and are encouraged to interact with a writer from the Writing Program. Artists will also be able to showcase their artwork in the Nickelodeon Art Gallery.

NOTICE: Updates on Project M in Belfast, Maine

PROJECT M
Project M is a program for young creative people who are already inspired to contribute to the greater good, and are looking for a platform to collaborate and generate ideas and projects bigger then themselves. 

FORMAT
Project M Belfast Blitz will be a 5 day long workshop session in Belfast, ME with 10–12 creative people starting March, 12th and finishing on March, 17st. The Project M Facilitator for this is Marc O’Brien. Ben Gaydos will be the AIB coordinator/Project M Facilitator.

THINKING WRONG
The human brain tends to think along predetermined linear thought pathways. Such linear thinking can inhibit true innovation and creative exploration. Project M will encourage, and provide techniques for “thinking wrong” to generate new ideas and design directions.

WHO SHOULD JOIN PROJECT M?
This workshop was developed for passionate young creative people. Students and professionals from any industries encourage to apply.

FEES
Project M is not a school and has no tuition. Every attending person will share the expenses of producing Project M. The expenses will be $600 each. Some M’ers have been very creative about raising this amount. Travel to and from Belfast, ME and incidental expenses are in addition to this amount. Housing, group meals, and project materials are included.

Elsewhere, a living museum set inside a former thrift store, invites creatives of all kinds to create site-specific projects that respond to our that respond to our collection, community, and concepts. Elsewheres 58-year collection of surplus and thrift, no longer for sale, now serves as resource for creative and critical projects across media. INTERNSHIP - The Creativity Commons

The Creativity Commons (description below) at Lesley is seeking an AIB student junior or senior year intern to assist AIB Design Faculty  Kristina Lamour Sansone on documenting interdisciplinary creative process conversations.

Applicants should be motivated and responsible with genuine interest in journalism, visualization, writing and/or telling stories. Photographic, video, web design and/or graphic design expertise preferred.  This 90 or 180 hour internship credit will apply towards Winter or Spring semester.

The Creativity Commons (Commons) offers a shared space for faculty and doctoral students from across the university to engage in creative exploration of innovation in teaching and learning in education as well as the community groups we serve. The Commons initiates and supports research in teaching, learning and assessment of creativity within a shared collective space that offers cross-disciplinary intellectual and artistic exploration. At the Commons we recognize the role of design and documentation in curriculum work and its application to education policy and practice. The Commons opens a space the community to gather and explore together creative ideas and solutions to critical issues in society.

Intern with the Society of Illustrators in NY

The Society of Illustrators is now accepting applications for highly motivated interns to join our team this fall.

We are looking for top-notch students available at least one day per week from 9am-5pm. Internship duties include packing and shipping art work, updating exhibition databases, cataloging our permanent collection and many more.  Interns will learn what it takes to work in a museum and will be exposed to some of the greatest illustrations and illustrators of the past and present.
